An Analysis Of The Artistic Characteristics And Performance Skills Of Erhuopera Orchid Narrative

Orchid ballad is a erhu work full of emotional color and rich national music characteristics,which tells the tragic experience of the protagonist orchid life.The birth of this work has given new life to the image of orchid,which is a model work in the contemporary erhu works.This article takes two aspects as the starting point,first discusses the artistic characteristics(music structure,melody,rhythm)of "orchid ballad" to highlight its unique flavor of national music;second,expounds the performance skills of "orchid ballad"(gliding,bowing,kneading)to show the essence of Erhu performance skills.I hope this paper can give some reference and help to the players and researchers who like this music.
