Research On Horror Narrative Of Horror Films In Mainland China

With the diversified development of the film market,Chinese and Western horror films are increasingly loved and sought after by the audience.The origin of horror films is no longer restricted to Hollywood and Japan.In recent years,there have been excellent horror films in South Korea and China.The horror film is a window reflecting the national culture.The differences in culture,economy and social customs of different countries make the horror films of different countries also show different characteristics.The Chinese mainland horror film was influenced by the traditional Chinese Confucianism.In the narrative mode,it broke through the narrative limitations of traditional horror films and created a unique "atheism" horror narrative.This article selects Chinese mainland horror film as the research object,combines and analyzes many horror films in China,and studies the horror narrative of horror films in mainland China.On the basis of combing the development of horror film in China,from the three aspects of narrative text,narrative image and narrative voice,the paper analyzes the overall characteristics of narration of horror film in mainland China.It also deeply studies the main modes of its narrative and the cultural connotation of the narrative features of Chinese-style horror films.At the same time,through research to summarize the corresponding development deficiencies,and propose targeted improvement measures,provide theoretical reference for the creators of horror films,and promote the diversified development of horror narratives of horror films in mainland China.
