Research On Localization Adaptation Of Japanese Drama

2018 is the 60 th anniversary of the birth of Chinese TV dramas.After 60 years of development,TV dramas have gradually matured and become a composite cultural industry.This study firstly combs the Japanese drama remake dramas in the past two decades,and analyzes the content of 22 Japanese drama remake dramas from five aspects: character image,lines,plot selection,narrative structure and theme extension.At the same time,it focuses on the analysis of Shanghai Women’s Atlas.The illustration of the localization code of the Tokyo Women’s Atlas.In view of the problems existing in remake dramas,this paper finds that deep culture,audience psychology and capital operation are the reasons for the dilemma of Japanese TV drama remake through interviews and text analysis.Finally,based on the cultural perspective,this paper proposes feasible countermeasures for remake dramas and Japanese drama remake from the perspectives of cultural sharing,cultural self-confidence and strengthening Chinese culture.The study found that Japanese drama remake dramas mainly have problems such as unclear copyright,excessive hype,low audience satisfaction,and poor localization.Whether it is from the characters,lines,plots,narrative structure or theme,most of the remake dramas in China have not been more localized.Judging from the results of the study,the repercussions of better repercussions are based on the local conditions of the country’s national conditions and social reality.Therefore,remake can neither be over-adapted nor copied and copied completely,but should proceed from the social and national reality,based on the characteristics of Chineseization,and moderately adapted.In the future,we still need to think about it.It is a kind of connotation to draw on and absorb the excellent culture of other countries.How to realize the export and transmission of self-excellent culture after taking it is another connotation of take-up.
