A Study Of Xi Jinping's Cultural Security Concept

Since the eighteen CPC Congress,Xi Jinping has put forward a major strategic task of cultural security based on the new situation of national security and has risen it to an important position in national strategic security.Around the important topic of national cultural security,Xi Jinping,combining with the reality of contemporary China,has gradually formed a complete theoretical system of cultural security based on fully absorbing the predecessors' theory and practical experience,which has provided an important theoretical basis for the realization of contemporary China's cultural security.The content of Xi Jinping's cultural security view is very rich.One is to insist on the guidance of Marxism.Xi Jinping attached particular importance to the security issue in the ideological field and took Marx's guiding position in the ideological field as the fundamental ideological guarantee for ensuring cultural security.The second is to uphold the party's leadership over culture.Xi Jinping pointed out that China's Communist Party leadership is the most essential feature of socialism with Chinese characteristics.He attaches great importance to the party's ideological work,and emphasizes that the whole party should strengthen theoretical study,enhance the awareness of the position and implement the responsibility system.The third is to adhere to the cultivation and practice of socialist core values.Xi Jinping pointed out that the core values are the soul of cultural soft power.It should be rooted in Chinese culture,focus on cultivating new people in the era,and integrate the socialist core values into all aspects of social life.The fourth is about the concept of "people-centered" cultural development.Xi Jinping has a deep understanding of the people's nature of socialist culture and the historical status of the people.He points out that we should correctly handle the relationship between literature and art and the people,dedicate the people with fine works,and ensure the safety of people's culture from the system.Finally,the construction of network culture security and discourse power.Xi Jinping explicitlyrequested that we should establish a correct concept of network security,speed up the regulation of cyberspace in accordance with the law,provide a good network environment for the people,play the role of network consensus,speed up core technology research and development,and enhance the ability of discourse communication.Based on the methods of literature research,analysis and comparison,and linking theory with practice,this paper makes a systematic study of Xi Jinping's concept of cultural security,and holds that Xi Jinping's cultural security concept has unique theoretical characteristics,namely,political nature,people's nature,nationality,integrity and practicality.The study of Xi Jinping's cultural security concept will help enrich and develop Marxist cultural security theory,and help to further study and master Xi Jinping's socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era.At the same time,it is also conducive to refute the wrong ideas in practice,promote the healthy development of the cultural cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and then enhance the soft power of national culture,and maintain national cultural security.
