Since he came to the literary world in the 1980 s,Su Tong has been working hard,maintaining abundant creative vitality and creating a large number of literary works.From the vanguard novels in the 1980 s to the works in the cultural transformation period in the 1990 s,and then to the novel creation in the new century,the transformation of Su Tong’s novel creation reflects the track of literary transformation in the new era to a certain extent.At first,Su Tong ascended to the literary world as a pioneer,indulged in the experiment of form,wrote the theme of escape and depravity and the viscous alienation of juvenile blood.His works,to some extent,implied the sad mark of the past,but also the resistance to the integrated narrative of 1950-1970.The impulse of Patricide implied the deconstruction and subversion of the seventeen year revolutionary narrative.At the turn of 1980 s and 1990 s,Chinese society was in the period of cultural transformation,and Su Tong’s creation was also in the period of transformation.The fictional spiritual hometown gradually faded away.Su Tong tried his best to integrate classical narrative aesthetics into the text construction of new historical novels.At the same time,he also pays attention to the psychological world and survival dilemma of female groups under patriarchy and patriarchy.Su Tong’s writing contains desire writing and fictional imagination,which implies the deconstruction of politicized and rigid narration,and also challenges the grand narration of traditional realism.Since the new century,his creation has entered a relatively gentle period.He pays more attention to the ordinary things of ordinary life.In the process of text writing,he intends to get involved in the reality,and also pays attention to the warmth and glimmer of human nature.After a brief review of his creation,his creation career has undergone three major adjustments,and the transformation of his writing style deserves attention.Su Tong’s transformation has external reasons of the background of the times as well as internal reasons of his literature itself.The original intention of this paper is to explore the transformation characteristics and reasons of Su Tong’s novel creation.This paper is divided into five chapters,as follows:The first part is the writing of youth confusion and suffering.Through the analysis of the classic texts of Su Tong’s pioneer period,the theme and artistic style of his works before the transformation are grasped as a whole.The suffering writing of escape and depravity,the undercurrent surging of sadness and gloom,the natural disasters and man-made disasters in Fengyang village and the fighting violence in Toona Tree Street,these Su Tong always repeatedly "affectionate construction",such writingreflects the decline history of the old rural family from the side,and also implies the sad memory of the past to some extent.The second part is the narration of desire,power and human nature.The fictional Fengyang village gradually dissipated,and the imaginable power still permeated the story of the new historical novel.In the late pioneer period,Su Tong’s creation was in the process of transformation.As a result of the success of "wives and concubines in groups",Su Tong continued to look for the possibility of innovation in the follow-up texts focusing on female groups.He tried to pay attention to the hidden inner world of the female group and portray the spiritual difficulties that women faced under the patriarchy and patriarchy.At the same time,in the construction of new historical novels such as my emperor career,he still plays a fictional passion,integrates history and reality,and integrates classical narrative aesthetics into the description of characters and stories.The third part,the voice of confusion involved in weightlessness.Since the beginning of the new century,Su Tong has expounded his creative idea of intervening in reality in his long writing.In why the snake flies and the story of the Yellow sparrow,he tries to achieve his intervention by means of symbolism and metaphorical narration.His complicated narration often shows cracks that can’t be covered.Even if he infiltrates it with ironic attitude,he loses his past flexibility and fluency.This overcrowded expression can’t match the real and profound metaphorical meaning.Therefore,Su Tong’s involvement in the reality is not the real touch to the reality.The fourth part is the Theme Evolution of Su Tong’s novels.Since the creation transformation,the theme construction of some of his works has gradually changed from gloomy and bitter to warm,kind and beautiful.He downplayed the historical fiction and illusion,separated from the bitterness and gloom of escape,and abandoned the alienation and viscosity of juvenile blood.His vision began to pay attention to the ordinary trivia of real life.All in all,Su Tong’s writing transformation of short and medium stories in the new century deserves attention.The fifth part is about the change of narrative style and aesthetic orientation of Su Tong’s novels.This part mainly discusses the change of narrative style and aesthetic orientation from the creation methods of western modernism such as absurd critical feeling,fragmented narrative,the gradual change of traditional classical narrative aesthetics and artistic style.His creation is influenced by the western modernist school,and also has the rhyme of Chinese classical novels.
