A Typological Study Of The Question Category In The Bai Language Of Hedian

In the study of Chinese grammar,the question of question category has always been a hot topic.Through the efforts of several generations of linguists,there have been many rich and excellent research works on the category of question.Then,inspired by the study of Chinese interrogative sentences,the study of interrogative categories in minority languages started,and a series of research results have been produced so far.However,compared with Chinese,the research on the category of question in white language is scarce,and there is no special and systematic research work.Throughout the works of Bai language research,it mainly focuses on the major centers of Bai language research,especially for the minor marginal local language research.Therefore,this paper chooses the Xiangyun native language-Hedian Bai language of Dali Bai language as the research object,and through the systematic description and research of its question category,it can not only make up for the lack of Monographs on question sentences in Bai language,but also enrich the research content of question categories in Bai Language.Based on a lot of fieldwork and combining the advantages of native speakers,this paper describes and studies the question category of Hetian Bai language from the perspectives of syntactic structure,semantic content and pragmatic features.Thirdly,based on the theory of"typology of language",using descriptive analysis,inductive analysis and comparative analysis,this paper systematically and meticulously reappears the appearance of the question category of Hetian Bai language.This paper is divided into three parts:introduction,body and conclusion.Among them,the text describes and studies the syntactic structure,semantic content and semantic features of the four types of interrogative sentences?yes no question,positive and negative question,selective question and specific question?in Hetian Bai language.From the perspective of syntactic structure,it can be divided into two types:the"question mark"type and the"intonation type".The distinctive feature of"question mark"is"question mark".There are three kinds of question marks:a⁵⁵?mu³³ and a⁵⁵mu³³,which carry the information and meaning of question."Intonation type"yes no question is similar to Chinese yes no question,which conveys the meaning of question through the change of tone at the end of the sentence;the positive and negative questions in Hetian Bai language use the option of"or"to connect the positive and negative aspects,forming a"positive+negative"syntactic structure to express the question information.From the perspective of semantic content,the semantic content of the positive and negative questions in Hetian Bai language can be divided into four categories:the cause of the question event,the action behavior,the nature state and the emotion preference.In addition,due to the influence of local language use habits,the repeated positive and additional positive and negative questions in the hodian Bai language can be transformed into a⁵⁵ yes no questions with question passing marks,with basically the same sentence meaning;the selective questions in the hodian Bai language can be divided into three different types of structural forms,namely,the semi ellipsis form,completely fixed form,slightly shaped in the whole province.From the semantic point of view,semantic relations can be divided into three categories:opposites,differences and compatibility.In the hodian Bai language,interrogative pronouns are its significant signs.According to the different information and content of inquiry,it can be divided into seven categories,each of which has its own main interrogative pronouns.Innovation of this paper:First,topic selection innovation.Based on the research theories and methods of Chinese question category,and the research results of predecessors on Bai language,the whole picture of question category of marginal Bai Language-Hetian Bai language is systematically and comprehensively reproduced.Second,corpus innovation.All the interrogative sentences in this paper are collected by the author's own fieldwork,and then combined with the language advantages of the native speakers.Third,the research theory is novel.Inspired by Liu Danqing's theory of"typology of language",the author compares the hodian Bai dialect with other central Bai dialects,highlighting the commonness and individuality between them.
