A Study On The Inheritance And Development Of The Tujia Folk Songs Weeding Gong And Drum In The Xuanhan County Of Eastern Sichuan

weeding gong and drum means when weeding,transplanting rice seedlings,and digging up soil in the field,laboring people go in groups to direct production,encourage enthusiasm,relieve fatigue,and improve efficiency.It is a sing form which is the “singing master”leads others to beat the drum to create rhythm,and others chime in with him during its performance.It is a true portrayal of the production and life of the tujia people.The author takes tujia folk songs weeding gong and drum of Xuanhan county in eastern Sichuan province as the research object,through the field survey by historical,geographical and musical features,to learn the current development and survival situation.Also combine the “3:30 after class” national policy with the own ideas,makes some effective suggestions and try to protect and inherit the “weeding gongs and drum ”by the author's ability and professional skills.
