This article takes the Chinese fine arts from 1949 to 1966 as the main research object,and takes the modernity theory as the research perspective.It examines the characteristics and performance of the modernity of Chinese fine arts from 1949 to 1966,as well as the historical and social and political factors that influence the modernity of Chinese fine arts.This article is divided into four chapters: Chapter 1 Introduction mainly introduces the modernity concept,research objects,research scope,research purpose and significance of Chinese fine arts from 1949 to 1966,a review of domestic and foreign research literature,basic content and research methods,and key points,Difficulties and innovations;Chapter 2 combs the historical development and evolution of the concept of modernity,expounds the basic connotation of social modernity and cultural modernity,and discusses the process and politics of Chinese modernization that influenced the modernity of Chinese art from 1949 to 1966 Factors;Chapter 3 summarizes and analyzes the characteristics and performance of the six aspects of the modernity of Chinese art from 1949 to 1966: the national image of the People's Republic of China as a modern nation-state is constructed through the image of Mao Zedong and the image of national unity;Depicts the modernity connotation of "modernization is industrialization";elaborates on the expression of "collectivity" with Chinese characteristics through collective creation and group portraits;through the Great Leap Forward in Art and the expression of progress "Worship of this modernity connotation;through the concept of "art for the public" and successive years of art forms,confirm the nature of the people's art of Chinese art from 1949 to 1966;through socialist realism and nationalization,explore 1949-1966 The creative experience of Chinese art realism in 2014;Chapter 4 explores the three viewpoints of the academic circles on the modernity of Chinese art from 1949 to 1966,and explains the significance of the study of the modernity of art from 1949 to 1966 to the understanding of Chinese art,And its inspiration to contemporary art.This article believes that the modernity of Chinese art in the period of 1949-1966 was influenced by the development of Chinese modern art,the modernization process of China,and the political environment of China.The modernity of Chinese art from 1949 to 1966 is an existing,mature,objective reality with its own unique expression.Contemporary China is still advancing on the path of modernization.Modernity is still a very realistic and challenging subject.The modernity of Chinese fine arts in 1949-1966 was studied in terms of realistic art creation,mass art,collective art creation,etc.His experience and lessons can be used as a historical reference and reference for contemporary art.This article is an effort of the author to use the "self-narrative" method to construct a unique modern discourse system belonging to the nation.
