Research On Zhuangzi's Thought Of The Relationship Between Self And Things

The theory of self-thing relation is an important issue in Zhuangzi's philosophy.Based on the concrete development of zhuangzi's theory of self-thing relation,this paper expounds the process of the thought initiation,connotation development,and logical construction of self-thing relation.Fundamentally,Zhuangzi's theory of selfthing relation is rooted in the duality of the connotation of self and thing.On the one hand,since the concept of "self" as the subject can be divided into "body" and "mind" according to the difference between substantiality and spirituality,the relation between self and thing can be transformed into the two dimensions of “body-thing relation” and “mental-thing relation”.On the other hand,the concept of "thing" as an object can be divided into thing that belong to one's own(things that have entered the realm of human knowledge and action)and thing that do not belong to one's own(things that have not yet entered the realm of human knowledge and action)based on the connotation of alienation.From this two-dimensional,the problem of the relation between self and thing can also be converted to "the relation between self and the thing that belong to oneself"(the thing here enter the realm of people's knowledge and actions)and "the relation between self and heaven"(Here the heaven refers to all things that have not yet entered the realm of human knowledge and practice).Taking the relationship and interaction between body-thing,mind-thing,body-mind,Wu-Wo,object-thing,and self-heaven as the narrative logic,Zhuang Zi built a creative schema of the relationship between subject and object with his own unique way of speaking.The successful construction of this theoretical relationship also provides a possible way for us to discuss issues such as the conversion of the horizon of Taoist philosophy,the generation of the world of meaning,and the development of new models of metaphysics.
