A Study Of Chivalric Poetry In The Southern Song Dynasty

The poetry of ode to chivalry in the Southern Song Dynasty declined gradually,but it is still of great significance.It is a unique product of The Times of internal troubles and external invasions in the Southern Song Dynasty,bearing the psychology and value orientation of the literati in the Southern Song Dynasty.According to “ Poems of Quan Song ” edited by Fu Xuancong,a total of 130 chivalrous poems in the Southern Song Dynasty were sorted out.This article takes these as the research object.This paper adopts the comparative analysis,method of literature and history mutual dialectic,quantitative statistical method,text interpretation and other research methods.This paper studies the concept,content,and artistic expression of the Southern Song Dynasty ranger poetry,and the influence of the poems on the poems in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties.This paper holds that the poems of "Ode to chivalry" in the Southern Song Dynasty refer to poems that sing or criticize the chivalry,chivalry's behavior,chivalry's character from the first year of Jian yan in the Southern Song Dynasty(1127)to the years of Zhi da in the Yuan Dynasty(1308--1311).In content,literati in the Southern Song Dynasty sang of chivalry,patriotism and loyalty,and by means of the rebellion against Confucianism,demonstrate the tragedy of the rangers,and embody common people's values.For the first time,the literati sang the patriotic sentiments with the patriotic swordsman,loyal chivalry.In addition,it clearly included the common people as the object of the ranger's help,which truly showed the ranger's plain life and ordinary chivalrous conduct.In artistic expression,the literati praised and criticized the rangers mainly used the archaic style poetry,and at the same time adopted the metrical poetry and Jueju poem.At the same time,narrative techniques were developed.And poetry has formed a variety of aesthetic tendencies such as sad and generous,coolness.Among them,the Southern Song Dynasty literati expanded the flowing perspective of chivalric style with the convective perspective for the first time,and expanded the narrative technique with narration interposed with flashbacks.In addition,the poems praising chivalry in the Southern Song Dynasty provided reference for the literati praising chivalry in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties.
