Gabriel Faur é(1845-1924)is a French composer in the period of romanticism.He is recognized as "one of the most outstanding composers in France,a master of vocal Divertimento,a keyboard poet,and a profound composer of chamber music".Faur's artistic world and work style injected new creative skills into the French music at that time.His reputation in the hearts of the public is growing,and his creation throughout his life He is a prolific composer with a large number of works,such as Concerto,piano solo,vocal music,symphony,chamber music,etc.Ballade Op.19 is an early piano work of Frey(1863-1889).It was created in 1879.After meeting with Liszt in 1882,with Liszt's constructive guidance and suggestions,the piano work was added to the band's strokes and adapted into piano and Orchestra works.As one of the representative piano solo works of Frey,ballad Op.19 has quite high research value and artistic value.The paper consists of four parts: the first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the background and significance of the topic and the current research situation at home and abroad;the second chapter briefly introduces the early music development of Frey and the creation background of ballad Op.19;the third chapter makes an in-depth analysis of music noumenon,focusing on harmony,texture,tonality,theme image and rhythm;the fourth chapter introduces its own performance experience and theory According to the starting point,it explains the performance techniques of music,as well as the characteristics and functions of various music elements,and expresses its own opinions.I hope that through the music analysis of Op.19,we can better understand Frey's music world and explore the music value of this piano work.
