English,as one of the most common languages in the world today,has very important communicative functions.However,as far as English education circumstance in China is concerned,teacher's classroom teaching has attached more importance to reading ability and vocabulary learning for a long time,which led to oral output disorder of elementary school students.There were scholars who did researches about the oral English output disorder.But their research objects were mainly middle school students,high school students and college school students,which lack of elementary school students.Therefore,it's necessary to do a research for oral English output disorder of pupil to know more about the situation and reasons,so that take some effective measures to solve the problem.This research chose the primary school students in middle and lower grades and their English teachers as research objects.First,the concepts of oral English output and its disorder were confirmed by document analysis.Second,I made some classroom observation during the internship.According to the result of the observation,I concluded the current situation of primary school students' oral English output.I recorded teachers' teaching method,teaching contents and teaching process for the convenience of the following work.At the same time,I made two questionnaires for pupil and teachers respectively,then ask 200 elementary students and 16 teachers to fill in their questionnaire.According to the results of the classroom observation and the questionnaires,the elementary students almost have oral English output disorders,such as vocabulary disorders,pronunciation,intonation disorders,topic disorders and so on,which do harm to the accuracy and fluency of oral English output.The factors causing disorders can be divided into two aspects,subjective factors(concern students themselves)and objective factors(outside of students).Subjective factors are English language ability,mental disorders and learning motivation of students.Objective factors are environmental factors concerning schools,teachers and families,including unreasonable curriculum provision,the lack of language atmosphere,deficiency of oral English testing,low professional quality of teachers and bad family learning environment and so on.According to the above analysis,the solutions will be proposed in this study.Above all,schools should take some steps.For example,schools should provide English teachers with more opportunities for further study.Second,more oral English activities could be held to create a better English atmosphere.In addition,schools should improve spoken evaluation system.As for teachers,they can make full use of multimedia to improve the quality of language input.What's more,they can also enhance the class efficiency and increase the enjoyment of the class by means of stratified teaching,game teaching and emotional teaching.Last but not least,parents should create a good family English environment,and pay attention to the improvement of oral English learning interest of their children.
