A Study On"Transcendence" In Jaspers' Philosophy Of Existenz

Transcendence runs through jaspers' philosophy of Existenz and is also the inner soul of his philosophy.He made Existenz leap to the ultimate transcendence by thinking about the categorization and phenomenalization of things,aiming at solving the problem of "how ‘Being' manifests to us".The thought of transcendence is first related to the transcendence of Existenz itself.Existenz needs to breakthrough itself by encountering the boundary situations,and to confirm itself in the specific historical truth.Existenz firmly executes all this because of the philosophical faith of the ration and opening,so the process of Existenz jumping to the "One" is also the process of a continuous opening themselves,and continuously breakingthrough thinking shackles.Transcendence,which is centered on Existenz,adheres to the spirit of "das Umgreifende",and it constantly reveals cipher language to attract the listening of Existenz,and then calls Existenz closer to its own intrinsic transcendence.This paper is divided into three parts,and the main contents are as follows:The first part focuses on the Modes of Transcendence,the Categories of Transcendence and the specific situations leading to Transcendence,and discusses the essence of Transcendence in Jaspers' Existenz philosophy.Jaspers progressively shows the process from non-fundamental transcendence to fundamental transcendence.Even though thephenomenological category cannot accurately express transcendence,the habit of human consciousness is to think about all visible and imaginable things.We talk about unspeakable transcendence by the category that can be said,aiming at breaking the barriers of categories and establishing the leap of consciousness towards transcendence.In the specific situation leading to transcendence,Jaspers stressed that Existenz can only reach transcendence in the specific historical reality and in the face of boundary situations.Meanwhile,the process of Existenz leading to transcendence is also the process of bravely facing death and making choices on faith.The second part clarifies Jaspers' identity as an atheist existentialist philosopher by explaining the differences between his philosophical faith and Christian religious faith,and explains in detail the cipher language in his philosophy.Jaspers criticized the Christian faith because he believed that the spirit of modern religion had declined and that the thought of redeeming oneself by God had completely deviated from the original intention of faith.In view of this,jaspers puts forward philosophical faith,which not only effectively corrects the connotation of "faith",but also comprehensively promotes the development of philosophical faith based on his concept of "Weltphilosophie".In order to reach transcendence,we must understand the doctrine of the "cipher" that Jaspers believed in,and cipher is the language that transcendence conveys to Existenz.The third part starts from Jaspers' "das Umgreifende" of transcendence,and develops the ultimate problem,then points out some contradictions that need to be faced and solved when Existenz transcends.First of all,in view of the nature of the ups and downs of Transcendence,Existenz realizes that it has the nature of Transcendence.Therefore,Existenz should understand the transcendence by virtue of the inherent relation between its own being and transcendence.However,it is not easy to reach the "One" of transcendence,because the Existenz is always moving towards the transcendence in the ups and downs,and the transcendence therefore moves ups and downs.Secondly,Jaspers emphasizes that the ultimate direction of transcendence is the ultimate "One",but the "One" of transcendence is not the direction of God.The "One" belongs to itself which is found by Existenz.It means the inner transcendence that transcends to the greatest possible extent in the existing world.
