As one of the most far-sighted philosophers in the first half of the twentieth century,Karl Jaspers' philosophy has always been oriented towards the wholeness of existence, and he is committed to establishing a way to open up the breadth of thinking and to understand the wholeness of existence, and explore the depth of human existence.Jaspers used his keen ‘sensibility' insight into the ‘comprehensions' as the origin of human beings, and on this basis,he put forward the ‘philosophical faith',a significant and controversial grand conception, which is unique to ‘rationality'.The insights are contained therein. This article points out from a realistic perspective that Jaspers' critique of the era of science and technology is actually aimed at the weakening of the power of reason, that is,human reason is generally distorted, forgotten, and even on the verge of being abandoned,so that reason is almost Lost the ability to correct and guide the thinking mode based on biological instinct and the values derived therefrom. Therefore,‘philosophical faith' not only have guiding significance for correcting the original modernity's wrong path, but also have important enlightening significance for us who are experiencing the same weakening and lack of rationality in the modern era. Here are seven chapters in the main body of this article. The second chapter intends to emphasize the perceptual basis of Jaspers' philosophy, pointing out that it is first a philosophy derived from receptivity.Speculation is only an external form of receptivity, showing a philosophy that facilitates an in-depth understanding of his‘autobiographical' philosophy, and the way of personality and its overall philosophy. The third chapter cuts into the social reality of the current era, starting from the spiritual situation of the current society, which is the universal alienation of freedom under expansive violence, and explores that how to deal with it by the freedom concept and philosophical faith based on freedom. The forth to seventh chapters gradually analyze the rational characteristics of Jaspers' philosophical faith, hoping to reveal the rational connotation of philosophical faith from his rational view, and point out the fundamental difference between it and theological beliefs(revelation beliefs). The forth chapter has a general nature. It directly analyzes the most important‘content' of the philosophical faith ‘God is',points out how this ‘God' presents a metaphorical meaning in the process of ‘interpreting the code',discusses living in The inner state of people in philosophical faith, and point out that philosophical faith is a rational way of life. The fourth chapter starts with Jaspers' ‘phenomenology' thought, which is the theoretical starting point of his philosophy. On this basis,he gradually develops his ‘basic operation of philosophical thinking',that is,‘theory of Periechontology '(The discussion of Chapter 6)further reveals the ‘rational dimension of philosophical faith'——what is rational thinking, what are the characteristics of reason, and how it ‘illuminates' philosophical faith(Chapter 7).
