A Study On The Inheritance And Development Of Zhaozhou Fan Drum,a Folk Dance In Hebei Province

“Zhaozhou fan drum” is a popular folk dance with local color in Zhaoxian county,Hebei province.It got its name from the drum shaped like a fan.It originated in the Han Dynasty and prevailed in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties.It has a lively,sprightly,witty,humorous artistic style,loved by the local people.Whenever the harvest season or the slack season,as well as a variety of celebrations,Zhaozhou fan drum will appear in the field of people's vision.In 2007,it was included in the second batch of intangible cultural heritage list of Hebei province.In recent years,influenced by the emerging culture shock and people's material concept,Zhaozhou fan drum is protected by relevant government departments though,its current development is unsatisfactory and its inheritance is difficult.As the sons and daughters of Yanzhao,we have the responsibility and obligation to protect the traditional folk culture in Hebei,explore many practical meanings,and make a modest contribution to the development of Hebei folk dance.This paper is mainly discussed in five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the history of Zhaozhou fan drum and analyzes from the three aspects of the living environment,historical origin and the development of Zhaozhou fan drum.Chapter two mainly analyzes the artistic characteristics of Zhaozhou fan drum and makes a detailed analysis of it from the three aspects of dance performance,dance movement and dance style,so as to better understand the dance art of Zhaozhou fan drum.Chapter three analyzes the cultural connotation,function and value of Zhaozhou fan drum dance.Based on the understanding of the living environment and artistic characteristics of Zhaozhou fan drum,the author further explores the cultural connotation,function and value behind it and highlights the importance of its cultural and artistic value.The fourth chapter is a summary of the development of fan drum in Zhaozhou.Through the field investigation of Zhaozhou fan drum,the paper summarizes the development of fan drum in Zhaozhou in recent years and analyzes the problems in the process of its inheritance and development.The fifth chapter is the author of some personal views on the inheritance and development of Zhaozhou fan drum in the future.According to the actual development situation of Zhaozhou fan drum,the author puts forward some opinions,aiming at promoting the better inheritance and development of Zhaozhou fan drum in the future.
