In the process of growing up in the west,piano music has a profound social background and cultural atmosphere,so composers have created numerous styles and genres of works for it,which has a relatively complete teaching system.In China,piano,as an imported product,has a development history of more than 100 years.Chinese composers began to explore the perfect combination of creation form and content to reflect the national temperament and "Chinese style"of piano music in the early 20th century.In this process,many excellent works with teaching value are born.However,compared with the number of western piano works and the integrity and systematical teaching system,the number of excellent works of Chinese piano works suitable for playing by high-level students is much higher.However,there is a relative shortage of teaching programs suitable for level 1-5 and textbooks for elementary Chinese piano works compiled according to the degree from easy to difficult,which is a problem that needs to be considered and solved in the field of piano teaching at present.Therefore,this is an urgent problem to be considered and solved in the field of piano teaching.Nowadays,with the rapid development of China's piano music culture,the methods,contents and textbooks of basic piano teaching have gradually gained the attention of piano educators.More importantly,some piano educators begin to realize the musical value and cultural significance of Chinese piano works in teaching,so they devote themselves to improving piano teaching and compiling textbooks of Chinese piano works.While teaching piano,they also contribute to the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional music culture.Literature survey and questionnaire are used by the author of this paper to investigate the piano teaching plans of professional music colleges and social art institutions to understand the actual utilization ratio of Chinese piano works in teaching.The author of this paper understands the actual utilization ratio of Chinese piano works in teaching,collects and sorts out some published pieces of Chinese piano works which are suitable for junior players,and analyzes their characteristics and teaching difficulties.At the same time,the author explores its teaching value and makes a contribution to the overall development of piano basic teaching.
