Zhou Yi's art song writing has distinctive personal characteristics and a high artistic aesthetic.This article takes Mr.Zhou Yi's three art songs "Farewell to Cambridge ","Spring Rain",and "Golden Phoenix" as examples for analysis.Through the analysis of Mr.Zhou Yi's early folk music works,to explore the roots of the national elements in his art song creation,and analyze his creative characteristics and musical vocabulary in depth by comparing two songs written with the same lyrics.Finally,the author combined his own learning and singing practice to explore the significance of Mr.Zhou Yi's work for the study of vocal music,and put forward opinions on the interpretation of the work.Mr.Zhou Yi's art songs combine the characteristics of traditional Chinese folk music with western writing techniques.The style is fresh and refined,the emotions are subtle and showy,the melody is romantic and affectionate,the implication is rich and profound,forming a unique personality.The exploration of his work style and analysis of singing can help the performers to understand the content of the work more deeply and provide a reference for their second creation.Zhou Yi's art songs are a treasure in contemporary Chinese art songs,and have played a role in promoting the "nationalization" of Chinese art songs in the 21 st century.
