NSR is a multilingual information consulting service company,which mainly provides translation,interpretation,localization and other services for customers in many languages.In recent years,with the development of economic globalization and China's “the Belt and Road Initiative”,China's foreign cooperation has been developing continuously with high demand for language services,attracting the participation of numerous small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of language service.However,not all companies involved would be highly benefited from such opportunities.For example,NSR has encountered serious development problems,such as fierce competition,rising costs,negative profit growth and so on.In this case,countermeasures and solutions are urgently needed.NSR's main problems have been revealed through analysis of its status and the general situation of language service industry.Applying the competitive strategy theory to the practice of NSR's strategic management,this paper puts forward a customer-translator business logic relationship based on Co-occurrence Matrix as well as the resultant social network system and resource framework after thorough analysis of NSR's internal and external strategic environment on the basis of associated data adopting such strategic analysis tools as PEST,Five Forces Model,SWOT-AHP,QSPM and Competitor Analysis Framework,and using the methods of big data analysis and knowledge discovery.At the same time,the qualitative and quantitative analysis is carried out,and the strategy of focusing on differentiation competition suitable for NSR is determined,which clearly defines NSR's development direction.In addition,this paper also introduces the specific actions to be taken by NSR in implementing the strategy of focusing on differentiation competition,and puts forward five measures to ensure the implementation of the strategy.It provides an important reference for the language service industry and the small and medium-sized enterprises on how to effectively use resources,improve quality and efficiency,and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.
