As a daily exercise method,yoga is loved by more and more people in our country.Many studies have shown that yoga can not only improve people's muscle strength,joint flexibility,cardiopulmonary function,physical balance ability,joint toughness,etc.,but also has obvious auxiliary effects on many psychological aspects such as stress,anxiety,depression,etc.And Zhu Jingbo,2014).This study uses two experiments to verify whether ordinary college students and college students with high anxiety traits can relieve anxiety through practicing yoga after experiencing acute stress,and test whether the levels of positive and negative emotions will change.Participants in Study 1 were general college students without any screening of traits.The subjects were divided into two groups.After the anxiety aroused,the experimental group practiced yoga for 45 minutes,and the control group did not intervene.After 45 minutes,the two groups of participants were examined for tension,state anxiety,and positive and negative emotion levels difference.In the second study,college students with a score higher than 45 were selected through the trait anxiety questionnaire.The results of the study found that:(1)After anxiety,ordinary college students have lower stress levels after practicing yoga than the control group.(2)High anxiety college students have lower stress levels and states after practicing yoga compared with the control group.Anxiety is lower and negative emotions are significantly reduced.This study shows that after encountering stress events,high anxiety college students can better relieve stress levels,reduce anxiety,and reduce negative emotions by practicing yoga.Ordinary college students can use their own methods to relieve anxiety and achieve the same effect as practicing yoga.
