A Study On Lin Yutang's Aesthetic Thought Of Life

In recent years,the academic circle has studied Lin Yutang from the perspective of aesthetics,but there are few studies that can go deep into the aesthetics of life.Lin Yutang's concern for human existence and life is the center and foothold of his thoughts.He starts from human beings,takes the pursuit of happiness and enjoyment of life as his purpose,examines life from the perspective of aesthetics,and constructs a set of his own aesthetic system of life.Therefore,Lin Yutang is both an aesthetician and a life aesthetician.On the basis of systematical analysis of Lin Yutang's life aesthetics,this paper tries to reveal the source,main content and practical significance of Lin Yutang's life aesthetics from the perspective of life aesthetics.This paper is divided into four chapters to discuss Lin Yutang's life aesthetics.The introduction part explains the research status and significance of this topic.The first chapter discusses Lin Yutang's thoughts on beauty and life.This paper first analyzes the concept of "life aesthetics",then concludes that Lin Yutang's life aesthetics is a kind of life aesthetics combined with Lin Yutang's thinking on beauty and life,and finally points out that Lin Yutang's life aesthetics has the tradition of Chinese life aesthetics.The second chapter mainly analyzes the thought source of Lin Yutang's life aesthetics.The first section is the immersion of western philosophical aesthetic theory.Lin yutang's aesthetic thought of life comes from the theoretical basis of western culture from three aspects:the deep-rooted Christian culture,the immersion of foreign culture and the cultivation of western aesthetic theory.The second section is the edification of Traditional Chinese humanism.This paper analyzes the spiritual source of Lin Yutang's life aesthetics from four aspects: the concern of Confucianism's "entering into the world" culture,the transcendence of Taoist's "going out" complex,the interest of Zen'sintuition and the cultivation of Chinese classical culture.Section 3Nourishment and inspiration of life.This paper mainly analyzes Lin Yutang's aesthetic thoughts of life from three aspects: good learning and cultivation,childhood faith in mountains,and unruly life experience.The third chapter summarizes the content of Lin Yutang's life aesthetics.The first section is the living realm of poetic man.Lin Yutang's reflections on the realm of human existence are mainly reflected from three aspects: the cognition of the subject of life,the tragic consciousness of life and the natural nature of human beings.The second section is humorous and leisurely life aesthetic attitude.It mainly shows Lin Yutang's aesthetic attitude of life from two angles of humor and leisure.The third section is a sound aesthetic consciousness of life.The thesis presents Lin Yutang's sound aesthetic consciousness of life mainly from three aspects: nearness,half-philosophy and enjoyment.The fourth chapter points out the significance and value of Lin Yutang's life aesthetics.First pointed out that Lin Yutang's life aesthetic thought revelation for the contemporary aesthetics,it is to carry forward the life aesthetic tradition,the modernization process,and then it analyzes the enlightenment of Lin Yutang's life aesthetics to contemporary life,it helps to promote the survival of the individual value,the balance of the gap between matter and spirit,guide the public to keep positive optimistic point of view,in the form of aesthetic poetic life,realize the life pursuit of happiness.
