On The Female Consciousness In Zhang Xinxin's Novels

As a female writer with distinctive creation characteristics in the history of contemporary literature,Zhang Xinxin constantly absorbs Western feminist literary criticism theory and combines her own personal experience,expressing her dissatisfaction with the status quo of women 's survival in her literary works.The perspective and delicate brushstrokes reveal the problems of women's survival,intellectual women's breakthrough in the traditional imprisonment and the difficulties of modern life.They raised the banner of women's consciousness in their deep thinking and strived for their rights.The female consciousness in Zhang Xinxin's novels is mainly concentrated in her early works.This article focuses on her early novels and focuses on the female consciousness embodied in her works.The first section of the article introduces Zhang Xinxin's personal background and her novel creation in the first section of the preface.The second section sorts out the research status of Zhang Xinxin's works from four aspects,which are female literature,psychological novels,documentary novels and female writers.Next,I will focus on Zhang Xinxin's early novels,mainly divided into three chapters to explore the female consciousness in female novels step by step.The first chapter explores the causes of Zhang Xinxin's female consciousness.There are three main aspects: personal growth experience,the impact of the social environment,and the introduction of Western literary theory.It is precisely because of the rational education that Xinxin received since childhood that she has never given up the exploration of independent life.As a writer who grew up during the Cultural Revolution,the hard-working idea that "women can hold up half of the sky" penetrates into the bone marrow.Furthermore,with the introduction of Western ideology and culture in the new era,Zhang Xinxin widely absorbed foreign literary theories and creative techniques.Formed a unique female literary work with Zhang Xinxin's characteristics.The second chapter of the thesis mainly discusses the ideological connotation of female consciousness in Zhang Xinxin's works,including the three aspects of escaping the dilemma of survival,finding ideal independence and loneliness that can't be talked about.The female consciousness in Zhang Xinxin's novels has a development process,that is,out of dissatisfaction with the status quo of survival,he was forced to choose to escape in order to find the ideal sky,mainly reflected in escape from love,marriage,and reality;after escape,women entered Society,exploring hard on the road of self-independence,and raising the sail of "equality between men and women" in work and marriage;when these women escape from old ideas and become relatively independent people,they are not understood and not being Recognition,not being respected,eventually fell into deep loneliness.The third chapter mainly discusses the spiritual orientation of female consciousness in Zhang Xinxin's novels and its role in inheriting the past in the history of literature.The female consciousness in Zhang Xinxin's works has the characteristics of the times in the new period.It not only inherited the female discourse against feudal traditions during the May 4th Movement,but also has an attitude of advancing with the times to this extent.It has more thoughts on women's issues and has made new attempts on women's survival.But her female consciousness is still not free and easy,and has a dilemma.This is exactly the value direction of Zhang Xinxin's female consciousness,which is mainly reflected in two aspects: the contradiction of being a woman or being an independent person and how to have both family and career Contradiction.Zhang Xinxin's exploration of women's survival has a role in inheriting the past and is a link between the May 4th Movement and female literature in the new era,and has always influenced the creation of female literature.
