A Preliminary Study Of The Application Of Electronic Music Technology In Movie Sound Design

Since the middle of the 20 th century,with the emergence and rapid development of electronic music,the concept and creation of traditional music have made a new breakthrough,such as the concept of music creation from linear development to non-linear development,music creation objects from “notes” to “sound” itself.The rapid development of science and technology and recording technology has become an important driving force to electronic music,which makes the creation technology of electronic music constantly updated,but also makes electronic music in the process of development form a lot of different styles of music,such as specific music,hybrid electronic music,etc.,and electronic music in the development is also constantly with other fields of art The combination of forms has developed a variety of electronic music performance methods,such as the combination of electronic music and drama,dance,live performance,etc.today,electronic music has been fully penetrated into our lives,such as in movies,games,drama,etc.,with the figure of electronic music.Film was born at the end of the 19 th century.After the initial silent film period,it has experienced more than 100 years of development and stepped into the digital film era.In this long development process,the sound of the film has also undergone tremendous changes.The content and composition of the sound of the film are also constantly innovating.Electronic music is one of the important aids,starting from the emergence of electronic music,Its technology and creative concept are presented in different ways in the movie sound.This paper focuses on the application of electronic music technology in movie sound.The ways of discussion are as follows.Firstly,by comparing and summarizing the historical development and technological development of electronic music and movie sound,it explains the synchronicity and mutual promotion of the development between them,and focuses on the application of electronic music technology in movie sound,especially in sound effect design.Secondly,by using the movie 《Transformers:Dark of the Moon》 for example,select the targeted sound cases in the movie sound(natural sound and non-natural sound).Then through the sound experiment in the audio software to analyze the composition of these movie sounds,and make the record of the overall process to discuss the application of electronic music technology in the movie sound,and summarize and classify the application methods.The author intends to explore the specific application mode of electronic music technology in the movie sound through this paper,and provide a new perspective for the application research of electronic music.At the same time,it also explores the new application direction for the combination of electronic music and movie sound.
