The musical “Evita” which is composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics written by Tim Rice,is based on Evita Peron's legend life course.It shows us Evita Peron's transformation from the countryside girl to the first lady of Argentina.The musical “Evita” uses Evita as the first-person perspective to describe the events,while adding Che as the third-person perspective.The play describes the same event through these two perspectives,so that the audience can not only stand in the position of Evita to have the most intuitive experience,but also can analysis Evita's life objectively,dialectically and comprehensively with the perspective of the onlooker.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the plot,historical background and the author of the musical “Evita”;The second chapter explains the concept and meaning of the dual narrative perspective technique and analyses the function and significance of the third person perspective in the storytelling;The third chapter,first,reflects the alternate narratives of the first and third person perspectives by using events as narrative units and using the form of lists.Second,it analyses how the first and third person perspectives alternately tell the core events and overall development trajectory of Evita's life stage by starting with the story combing and the main music clips.Then,Evita's comprehensive multi-angle life experience can be learnt from a dual narrative perspective.
