On Dual Defence Of Poetic Narrative Of Nineteen Ninties

After the evolution stages of misty poetry, post misty poetry and the third generation poetryof1980s, because of the transformation of socialist market economy, and along with the strongrise of the commodity economy and popular culture, the ever important traditional poetry comesinto marginalization. Reviewing the pattern of the changing poetry circles, the lyric poetries arein the embarrassing situation and they are forced to be out of the contemporary poetry. Thenarrative of the poetry, as a new thing, rushes the contemporary poetry with its new aestheticattitude and special ways. Compared with the traditional poetry, the narrative poetry focus on theevents in daily lives as poetic materials to show its realism and objectivity. Differ from thepompous of the1980s poetry; the narrative poetry performs its intensity and thickness. For thetransformation of aesthetic, the1990s poetry becomes a trend of literature, which is called a risenof aesthetic principle or a creating of a new way. We can’t deny the energization of it, but if weabuse the narration, there would be of course bad influence. Therefore, the understanding of thenarrative poetry of1990s should be started thinking based on its dual defense.This paper tries to talk about the narrative poetry of1990s, tries to make a research towardsthe development status of it, and solve some problems, such as, how can the narrative poems toestablish a position in the poetry circles? How is the connotation of the narrative poetry? Is thereany new aesthetic meaning? Is there complete negation of the lyric? And any differencesbetween the narrative poetry and the traditional poetry? Thus, this paper discusses six sections.Introduction; the intervention of the narration in the poetry; about narrative poetry; self defenseof the lyric poetry; dual defense and understanding narration in the lyric poetry; and conclusion.In this way, the understanding of the narrative feature towards the1990s’poetry could be greatlydeepened, and the practice and judge of it could be enriched.
