Since the twentieth century,with the gradual introduction of western composing techniques to China,China's music style has entered a period of vigorous development.More and more Chinese composers have learned Western traditional composition techniques and compared them with traditional Chinese musical elements.Combining and pursuing individual music creation style.As one of the representative composers of modern China,Ma Sicong's works include both the strict structural techniques of traditional western music and the characteristics of traditional Chinese music.As a representative composer and performer in modern China,This article focuses on Ma Sicong's three instrumental works "Xinjiang Rhapsody","Song of the Forest",and "Second Symphony" in the middle period after he returned to China from studying composition in France.These three works are more representative of Ma Sicong's influence on French creative techniques Meaningful works reflect the social conditions at that time and Ma Sicong's strong national emotions.Data at home and abroad show that there has not been any special harmony research on Ma Sicong's three works,and this topic has certain theoretical research value.In this paper,the first chapter mainly introduces Ma Sicong's life and creative experience,and combs the existing research literature to clarify the topic and research methods of this thesis.The second chapter mainly focuses on "modular materials","chord materials",and "harmonic materials" "Relationship" three aspects,analysis of Ma Sicong's three instrumental works,and summarize and summarize.The last chapter is to sort out and summarize the harmony language and aesthetic meaning in Ma Sicong's music creation.Through research,we can see that Ma Sicong's harmony technique integrates Chinese and western musical elements with thinking techniques,with distinctive personality characteristics,which shows his aesthetic pursuit in the middle of his creation.The humanistic environment in which Ma Sicong lives makes his works have strong patriotic feelings.Some of his musical works are full of glorious power,while others portray delicate emotions that are in line with China's modern history and social conditions at that time.Through the research on the harmony technique of Ma Sicong's three works,the author hopes to have a deeper understanding of Ma Sicong's creative techniques,provide some references for others to understand Ma Sicong,and try to arouse theorists in China to Ma Sicong's composition.Further attention on home research.
