Visual working memory is essential for individuals to acquire visual information and advanced cognitive activity.Previous researches have shown from different aspects that action game players have the advantage of visual working memory,as well as researches on the corresponding mechanisms that generate this advantage.However,these conclusions are almost all based on gaming experience on PC platform.Moreover,domestic and foreign researches give spacial attention to the Action Video Game type,but little attention to the effects of the game type on visual working memory.Based on the smart mobile phone platform,this article studies the current popular mobile online games(battlefield to king glory and desperately:domestic stimulus,for example).Adopting the classic change detection paradigm screen(memory,memory retention,and reaction plate),this article attempts to explain the advantages of MOG players' visual working memory through cognitive and neural aspects.In experiment 1,in order to confirm that the MOG players do have an advantage in visual working memory,we used the change detection paradigm of color block stimulation to compare MOG players with non-MOG players in tasking performance.The results showed that MOG players are obviously better than those of non-mobile players in visual working memory capacity and task performance(hit rate,reaction time and memory capacity),Mobile gamers have the behavioral advantage of visual working memory.In experiment 2,in an attempt to explore this superior neural mechanism,we used the recall report paradigm(direction wheel)similar to experiment 1,while using event-related potential technology to record.By analyzing contralateral delayed activity as a physiological indicator,it explains the difference in brain activity between MOG players and non-MOG players when performing visual working memory.The results performed that MOG players markedly out do those of non-MOG players in visual working memory capacity and accuracy,and mobileplayers can induce more contralateral delay activity volatility,Mobile game players have visual working memory behavioral and physiological advantages.In experiment 3,in accordance with the behavior of MOG players and the reduction of VWM capacity? At the same time,ERP was used to record and analyze the differences in brain activity during visual working memory task by analyzing CDA as physiological indicators.The results indicated that MOG players maintenance group are markedly superior to those of non-MOG players suppression group in visual working memory capacity and accuracy,and MOG players maintenance group can trigger greater contralateral delay activity volatility,The mobile game player maintenance group had the advantage of visual working memory.Combined with three experiments,the visual working memory of mobile game players had advantages in behavioral and physiological indicators.
