"Four chapters in Northern Shaanxi" is a bamboo flute concerto composed by famous composer Cheng Dazhao in 1996.The second movement "social drama" is a moderate allegro.This movement reflects the joy of the game,vividly reappears the music style of the "Errentai" folk opera in Northern Shaanxi with the humorous and conversational style [Research on the performance techniques and musical characteristics of the single duo Bamboo Flute Concerto "four chapters in Northern Shaanxi" [D]],and expresses the people's good wishes for life and happiness in Northern Shaanxi.The third movement "the past",Adagio.In the melody of the flute,it reveals the long history of ancient and modern changes to people.Based on the traditional folk music of Northern Shaanxi and the Western orchestral creation techniques,the work not only highlights the music style of Northern Shaanxi,but also fully embodies the special charm of contemporary music vocabulary.It is a successful example of "making the past serve the present,making the foreign serve the China".This article will analyze and discuss the artistic characteristics and performance techniques of the bamboo flute concerto "four chapters in Northern Shaanxi" from the aspects of "social drama" and "past events" in terms of its musical structure,melody characteristics and technique application.
