The reason for choosing children’s picture books as the research object is that there are more and more different kinds of picture books in the Chinese market.Picture books occupy an important position in the children’s book market.As parents pay more attention to children’s books,how Improving the reading quality of picture books and the design level of illustrations is a challenge for illustrators in the future.The design of the picture book has the characteristics of being an independent individual and displaying the author’s understanding of the world and his own emotional catharsis in the form of images.The innovation lies in the new visual experience and novel visual effects brought by the unique design method in the picture book,which can really touch the heart of the child.The emotional design in the picture book can connect the author and the child’s emotion to meet the child’s psychological needs.This article describes the current status of children’s picture book design and the application of picture books in children’s groups.The purpose is to realize the emotional design of innovative children’s picture books and the artistic expression of children’s picture books,thereby promoting the role of picture books in children’s emotional education.The article is mainly divided into: The first part is an overview of the research topic,mainly including the research purpose,research status,research methods and final research practice.The second part is an overview of the emotionalization of children’s picture books,including the concept and characteristics of picture books,the role of child psychology in picture book design,and the role and significance of emotional expression in children’s picture book design.The third part is the principle and realization method of children’s picture book emotion expression.Including design principles and design implementation methods.The fourth part is the specific practice of graduation design,through the realization of the emotional expression of the picture book in the design process of "The Lost Star".In this graduation creation,first of all,I made a lot of data collection on the books of the picture books,and summarized the painting methods and storytelling methods in the excellent picture books.Secondly,make a preliminary style and positioning of the graduation project and create a sketch,and apply the relevant theoretical knowledge of reading to the design of the picture book story,such as illustration composition,image design and color matching.Three different expressions of emotion The use of withdrawal in "The Star".Finally,locate the readers of the picture book and select the appropriate drawing method and color processing method,color the sketches and make paper-based physical objects,and add the collection of three-dimensional books to enrich the finished product.In the physical display part,the production of picture books is also added,such as postcards,tape,paper bags and other products to make the final graduation creation more complete.
