Political Opportunity Structure And Contentious Movements

All kinds of Contentious Movements is important way that we observe social status,social issues and even the country's political structure.Combing the western theory research,we found that it's focus has experienced from emphasis the Contentious Movements' "confrontational","spontaneity" to realize the "political".It reminds us,those happened in our country should be considered from a more macro perspective as a interactive political process between the individual,group,and the country,rather than a simple or isolated struggle.Based on such standpoint,this article emphasis on the "political" of Contentious Movements,introducing the theory of "Political Opportunity Structure".Further,combined with the "political","stability" and "competitive" of our existing political system,amended the theoretical framework for the reasonable correction,put forward five "Political Opportunity Structure variables"including "the transformation of authoritative propaganda","fragile rural governance structure","government role under the land finance","the outstanding performance of the elite","the key role of the media",and analyses the game process surrounding those variables.This article argues that the radical change of contemporary China's economic system,social structure and values create a completely different political opportunity structure,such changes control people's Contentious Movements logic.In the future,remodeling the country's status and function,further consummating the relevant legal system and moderately encouraging social organizations to participate the governance process,only in this way can dissolve the dilemma of increasingly Contentious Movements.At the same time,it is necessary to alert the current political and economic structural defects induced Contentious Movements behavior of national political legitimacy of the potential impact.
