In 2011,‘Jasmine Revolution' took place in Tunisian,Egypt has since then been suffering from social unrest, economic slowdown, unceasing demonstrations, unstable political situation.During this time, two presidents were overturned, two constitution were abolished, three constitutional statements were issued, and two new constitution were made. The reason why the development of Egyptian constitutionality has gone through so many ups and downs is that it has a close connection with its military regime.Military regime is a regime newly established after overthrowing the original one by military bloc through threat or use of force. The majority of its government staff are soldiers. In 1952 the free officers organization led by Nasser overthrew King Farouk and a republican government was established, thus formed a typical military regime. After that, the Egyptian military regime underwent periods of Sadat,Mubarak and Mubarak, and a stage after Mubarak's resignation in 2011.Egyptian constitution and constitutional documents were formulated and promulgated by military regime led by president. It's not hard to see military regime has affected Egyptian transition in constitution and its constitutional development through the analysis of Egyptian constitutional text.In essence, military power and constitutional ideas are totally incompatible,But in the social reality of Egypt, the Egyptian military regime and constitutional ideas are always in conflict and Integration, making the Egyptian military regime to achieve a certain degree of constitutional validity, thus corresponds with constitutional ideas to some extent. However, the essential contradiction between the military regime and constitutional ideas was never solved.Like the two sides of one coin, military regime has a positive as well as a negative effect on the constitutional development in Egypt. On the one hand,it played a positive role in stabilizing social order and boosting social development. On the other hand, the development of constitutional democracy is finally impeded by military concentration of power.Throughout the history of constitutional development of the Republic of Egypt, the military regime has dominated Egyptian constitutional development. But the development of Egyptian constitutional government will be transformed successfully through restraining and balancing power of military regime and a harmonious constitutional order of Egypt will be realized.
