Research On Improving The Legal Quality Of Policemen In The View Of Ideological And Political Education

Accompanied with the promotion of the concept of law-based governance,police officers' legal quality gets a lot of public attention.To keep pace with the improvement of rule of law,all police officers should be able to master the necessary legal knowledge,cultivate the consciousness of continuous learning,and have advanced legal concept,rule-of-law thinking,ability to explore legal facts and skills necessary for law enforcement activities.Great attention must be paid to the legal quality of police officers,as it is an important and effective measure to advance the governance of rule of law,uphold the legal authorities,protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens and build a harmonious society.The questionnaire designed for "the legal quality of police" effectively reflects the current existing problems including limitation of legal knowledge,lag of the updating,weak perception of rule of law,poor legal thinking,and lack of ability to explore legal facts and skills in law enforcement activities,which all need police officers working hard to rectify in the future.The deep analysis for the reasons of the problems is the necessary condition for an effective rectification.Carefully analyzed the problems existing in the legal quality of polices in the aspect of ideological and political education,it is not difficult to find out that lack of legal,learning,exploration and job consciousness is the internal cause hindering the improvement of legal quality;and the unsolid systematic training,not in-depth concentrated exploration,imperfect assessment indicators and imprecise investigation of misjudged cases are the external causes.Problems will be solved if using the right approaches.The correct way to efficiently solve the problems related to legal quality of the police is to analyze reasons of problems in aspects of both ego and collective ideological and political education and propose relevant countermeasures.It is important to take the advantage of subjective activity from self-learning and efficiency from collective learning to promote the improvement of legal quality of police officers by strengthen the consciousness of job,learning,exploration and supremacy of law;and therefore,expect a new progress in China's legalization process.
