Protection Of The Right Of Taxpayer Under The Automatic Exchange Of Tax Information On Financial Accounts

Together with the globalization,the cooperation and combination between have been unprecedentedly intimate.Thanks to the development of modern technology,especially the information technology,the offshore finance has become a predominant method of foreign direct investment.Meanwhile,this also provides a new way to escape form the domestic obligation of tax.To effectively avoid this phenomenon,Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development has offered the Automatic Exchange ofTax Information on Financial Accounts to exchange taxpayers' tax information.Though this helped to protect sovereignty,taxpayers may also be confronted with the violation of their privacy.Accordingly,this paper focused mainly on the protection of the information of taxpayers and provided possible methods to solve the questions in front of the government.
