China's legal system of ship oil pollution damage compensation fund is currently in the initial stage,Chinese ship oil pollution damage compensation fund management committee was established on February 18,2015,the fund has officially entered the practical stage of claims.This paper introduces the compensation fund of China's current legal system of ship oil pollution damage,combined with China's first major oil pollution damage compensation fund claims court cases,to explore the status quo of China's ship oil pollution damage compensation fund legal system and the future direction of development,it discusses the existing legal system of China's ship oil pollution compensation fund problems in the practice,discussion is still to improve and perfect,so as to improve the international status of China's ship oil pollution compensation fund for compensation for oil pollution damage in the international legal field,the implementation of our strategic maritime power service.
