A Study Of Liberal Thought In Spinoza's Theological Political Theory

Spinoza's liberal ideas has rich connotation,not only natural that the only entity with freedom,at the same time for the man state is freedom,the pursuit of freedom is the ultimate goal of Spinoza's philosophy thought.The theological political theory,which was published in the background of political struggle and religious sects,took on the responsibility of separating philosophy and theology and leading people to freedom.It can be said that Spinoza's theological conception and political thought are different aspects of liberal thought.The scientific treatment of theology clears the way to political freedom.Only when people live in a democratic republic and voluntarily abide by the laws of the state can people achieve true freedom.Based on the theological and political theory for the analysis of the text,in order to free thought as the main line,through the religious criticism of Spinoza,and to explain the problem such as the bible,Spinoza found countries to establish and implement the internal logic of political freedom.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part mainly introduces the background of the birth of the theory of theological politics,and explains the free thought and entity monism of Spinoza.It can be found that freedom is the unique value to pursue in the book of theological politics.To achieve political freedom,freedom must be free from religious constraints.The second part discusses the Spinoza,criticism of the traditional religious doctrines,through get rid of the shackles on people's thoughts,Spinoza,the so-called rational be vividly portrayed,people can't rely on imagination,superstition,but a rational to follow,which laid the ideological basis for the realization of political freedom.The third part is to reinterpret the biblical discourse and realize the separation of philosophy and theology.Spinoza,guide people treat the bible science,emphasize the rational theology and have their own respective boundaries,to solve the conflict of both rationality and theological conflicts must be traced back to people's natural rights in the state of nature.The fourth part through to the natural state of freedom and social status,points out that people should be living in a democracy,the rational emphasized political real purpose is to realize people's freedom.At the same time,this freedom is not unlimited,but should be restricted.This restriction is in accordance with people's rational national law.Through analysis,we can find the political expression of Spinoza's free thought,which has an important influence on later free thinkers.
