In the practice of public security work,mediation as a flexible way to solve the case,conform to the trend of the current Chinese social development,and also to some extent to meet people's needs.Public security mediation systems because of its efficient,convenient and authoritative,and quasi-judicial characteristics,widely used by public security organs.Mediation period is short,low cost,easy program characteristics,is also consistent with the Chinese "and for you"mentality,so that normative social order played an important role.In the work of public security organs in the security services use mediation approach not just to deal with civil disputes,resolving social conflicts,and can also improve administrative efficiency,save administrative costs,and contribute to the promotion of social harmony and address the grass-roots level police less than equivalent problems.But working in police practice,some grassroots public security organs and the mediation work carried out there by the police such as the conciliation procedure is not standard,mediation is not accurate,as well as issues such as mediation against parties will,affect mediation function into full play.To this end,adjusted in terms of public order mediation work in our country,so that more standardized,perfection of mediation system,which not only to adapt to economic and social development,but also to enhance the police ability to govern.Scientifically determine the scope and standards of public order mediation;mediation procedures for establishing simple,efficient and legitimate;the legal effect of the redefinition of public order mediation to establish conciliatory and mediation system;establishment of related regulatory mechanisms to prevent abuse of power,Mediation in the social transformation period in police administration to play a more active role.
