In November 2015,Myanmar held a national election. The National League for Democracy led by Aung San Suu Kyi won election in a landslide victory and successfully established the new government.Myanmar has ushered in the first truly elected government since 1962.Myanmar has experienced a number of general elections such as in the early days of the nation,in 1990,in 2010,and in 2015.The previous two ended in failure. The 2010 election was seen as a transitional from military dictatorship to democracy. At the 2015 general election,Myanmar?s internal and external is full of expectations that fresh blood injected into Burma's political arena.Focusing on the development of ethnic politics in Myanmar not only can understand the current political situation in Myanmar, but also can understand the path of the ethnic minorities in Myanmar to realize their own interests. This paper attempts to analyze the current situation of Myanmar?s ethnic conflicts from the perspective of Myanmar ethnic politics. This paper takes Myanmar 's three general elections as the background of the political development of Myanmar ethnic groups, and systematically and deeply analyzes the various factors of ethnic politics in Myanmar, and uses the theory of international relations to analyzes the characteristics of ethnic politics in Burma's general election and the future development trend of Myanmar politics.Although the NLD won the 2015 election, the junta remains an invisible force in Myanmar. The military and the opposition have waged a fierce struggle around the issue of the state nature and distribution of power, which in turn affects the national unity and the realization of minority aspirations. At present, the ethnic minorities participate in Myanmar's political life by forming political parties and campaigning, but under the complicated political game situation in Myanmar, there is still a long way to go in the development of ethnic politics in Myanmar.
