A Study On The Cultural Inheritance Of The Hui Nationality In Shanxi

As the most widely distributed ethnic group in China,the Hui nationality has formed a unique cultural inheritance pattern featuring "an extensive disersion with localized concentrations" residence pattern.In the study of the issue of cultural inheritance,there is a test tube effect that no other ethnic group can compare.This theis puts the Hui nationality in the modern cultural context,focusing on the present situation and problems of it.Taking Ma Jia Hui village,Datong,Shanxi Province as an example,this paper uses the literature study,interviews and questionnaires to analyze the educational culture,religious life,marriage together with funeral customs of the Hui nationality in Ma Jia Hui village.What's more,it puts forward some practical countermeasures and suggestions from the individual,social and national perspectives.In that the progress of modern science and technology shortens the gap between different ethnic groups,communication between whom are increasingly frequent.In addition,with the development of modern society,new ideas and new concepts have been sprung up,which affect the traditional cultural customs and ideas of all ethnic groups,leading to various problems in the inheritance of the Hui culture.Therefore,how to achieve cultural consciousness and realize the heritage of traditional culture in different cultural environment is worth pondering.The research location of this paper----Ma Jia Hui village,which is a typical Hui village in a different cultural environment.The first chapter introduces the geographical position as well as the general situation of the village,its system evolution and the origin of the Hui nationality.Based on the educational culture,religious life,marriage customs and burial customs of the Hui nationality in Ma Jia Hui village,this paper analyzes some problems in the cultural inheritance of the Hui nationality of Ma Jia Hui village in the different cultural environment.The problems in the education and culture of the Hui nationality in the village are characterized by the weakening of family education,the desalination of community education,the decline of the education of the halland the dilemma of the school education.In the religious life,the author studies the basic situation of the religious life of the Hui nationality in Ma Jia Hui Village based on the five tasks of reading,worship,fasting,heaven lesson and pilgrimage,and reveals the fundamental problems of the inheritance of religious belief,such as the gradual desalination of religious belief,the secularization of religion and the weakening of the restraining power.The author reveals the transformation and inheritance of cultural elements by describing the process of the wedding and funeral customs in Ma Jia Hui village.In the final part of this paper,the author discusses the dilemma and outlet of the culture heritage in Ma Jia Hui village.The author analyses the characteristics of the cultural inheritance of the Hui nationality in the village.The cultural inheritance of Ma Jia Hui village in the different cultural environment is concentrated on the gradual deepening of the influence of Han culture and the imbalance in the inheritance of cultural contents.The author analyses the related causes of the cultural inheritance dilemma from the micro and macro perspectives,putting forward some countermeasures on the difficulties faced by the cultural inheritance of Hui nationality in Ma Jia Hui village,such as the development of the holiday class of the mosque,the development of various forms of Hui cultural activities,and the good family atmosphere of the parents for the family.The writer hopes to provide some practical suggestions for the Hui ethnic culture in different cultures through the case of Ma Jia Hui village.
