The Paradigm Research Of The External Political Communication During The Early Period Of Ming Dynasty

This paper is based on the Paradigm theory of Thomas Kuhn and takes the external political communication as the perspective.And it is from the angle of the political rhetoric,political symbol and political ritual.It uses literature analysis to sort and research the diplomatic edicts,Datong Calendar,Zhenguo Mountain,the action of conferring overseas countries' leader by emissaries of Ming government and the action of paying the tribute to Ming government by overseas countries' emissaries to examine the role and impact of these elements in the process of establishing a stable political relationship between Ming government and overseas countries.And it summarizes the concept,principle,guideline and strategie of the external political communication during the early period of Ming dynasty.On this basis,this paper integrates the previous research results into the paradigm theory and puts forward the paradigm of external political communication during the early period of Ming dynasty.Moreover,this paradigm has been evaluated.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research origin,significance,object,time span,method,source of historical data,innovation point,literature review,theoretical foundation and interpretation of concepts.The second part talks about how the emperors during the early period of Ming dynasty used the political rhetoric,political symbol,and political ritual and the impact of these elements in the external political communication,and summarizes strategies of the external political communication during the early period of Ming dynasty.The third part sums up the concept,principle and guideline of the external political communication during the early period of Ming dynasty.The fourth part proposes the paradigm of the external political communication during the early period of Ming dynasty based on the analysis of the elements described above and makes an evaluation of this paradigm.The fifth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research results of this article.
