Religious property is the material basis for the development and transmission of religious activities,and it is also the material guarantee for citizens' right to freedom of belief.Due to the complexity of religious issues,the particularity of religious subjects,inconsistency between religious internal rules and legal provisions and differences in religious teachings.There are still not clearly specify the owner of various types of religious property.At present,the phenomenon of infringement of religious property is frequent,once the religious property has been infringed,there are no qualified owner to protect the religious property.Give legal status to religious subjects,guaranteeing the religious subjects have independent ownership of religious property that is the development trend of current religious property protection.Therefore,clarifying the ownership of religious property and building a system of religious property ownership are key steps in strengthening the protection of religious property.With the implementation of the General Principles of Civil Law and the new Regulations on Religious Affairs,this article intends to clarify the ownership of religious property in China based on the diversification of the subject of religious property ownership,and clarify the property rights of the state,religious activity sites,religious organizations,private and religious faculty members.The ownership of state and private has explicit provisions and the controversy in practice is not significant.It is necessary to clearly identify all religious assets belonging to religious venues and clarify the property relations between the religious staff and the religious organizations to which they belong.
