Research On The Rules And Application Of Zero Confession

There is no zero confession rules in laws of our country,the first one to use it was People's Procuratorate of Shuncheng district,Fushun Liaoning in August 2000,its principle is to ignore the confession of the suspect and form a complete chain of evidence through other evidence to substantiate the crime and then bring the suspect to justice.It caused a great deal of resonance in the judiciary with approval and opposition.The author believes that existence makes sense,and its emergence is not accidental.Zero confession is a product of the development of the rule of law to a certain stage.It is the new thing that comes into being,it is imperfect and has shortcomings,but it is also a way to pursue fairness and justice.It is an important means to fight crime,and cannot be negated completely.The author tries to analyze the application status of the zero confession rules from the general theory,to find out the problems,and then to put forward schemes to improve it with current criminal cases,finally to push forward the zero confession rules slightly.
