Research On The Political Work Of Chinese People's Armed Police Force In Emergency

Political work plays a great role in the response to emergent crises by the internal security force of Chinese People's Armed Police Force(CAPF)by providing political and ideological guarantee,personnel support and spiritual motivation.However,the complexity of emergencies in practice makes the development of political work restricted in many ways,leaving a lot of problems and shortcomings.Therefore,to explore the methods and approaches to enhance political work and to display its service function during emergency resolution will be of great importance to strengthen the ability of the internal security force and make sure it heading for the right direction.This paper adopts the methods of literature research,survey research and case study.After reviewing the experience of the way the CAPF conducts political work in recent years' emergencies,the researcher interviews and conducts survey on the commander,officers and grassroots soldiers that are responsible in these missions,and then summarizes the status quo of their work and analyzes the causes of the existing problems;based on the above summaries and analysis,this paper put forward a set of solutions on how to improve political work in emergencies.The paper has four parts: the first part is an introduction which introduces the basis and significance of this research,the related studies at home and abroad,research methods and innovations;the second part defines the core concepts,explains the contents,principles and features of the political work in emergencies;the third part summarizes the status quo and the existing problems in current political work in emergencies based on the investigation;the fourth part offers the suggestions and solutions on how to conduct political work in emergencies from perspectives of ideological basis,fighting spirit,political attack,mass work and immediate response.
