In the plateau area,the CAPF(The Chinese Armed Police Force)officers often experience harsh living environment,tough social circumstances.Facing irreversible damage to the health,they still need to carry out high intensive work with risk to safety.Thus,it is important to develop a higher level of psychological capital,particularly for the cadres under lieutenant colonel,who are the youngest group of the entire CAPF officers,but also the largest group.These young cadres are the back forces of the CAPF as well as the power to support the sustainable development of the armed forces in plateau area.Based on the personal experience in the plateau area,this paper conducts investigation on the psychological capital of cadres with lieutenant colonel rank and below in the plateau region.The overall analysis and discrepancy analysis are implemented to investigate their psychological capital status.By identifying the key problem,the strategy for the development and promotion of psychological capital is proposed.This paper first reviews the relevant theories and reported works of psychological capital.By defining the scope of the study given the concept of psychological capital in the plateau region,CAPF officers with lieutenant colonel rank and below,the paper introduces the current theory of psychological capital development at home and abroad.Secondly,based on the theory of psychological capital,the psychological capital self-evaluation questionnaire and the investigation & implementation plan are proposed for CAPF officers with lieutenant colonel rank and below in the plateau area.Thirdly,given the results,the overall analysis and of the analysis for individual differences are conducted to find their psychological capital problems.The last but not least,given the outcome of the analysis,the strategy to develop and enhance the psychological capital of CAPF officers is proposed.The results of this paper have both theoretical and practical contribution to the development of the psychological capital and the sustainable development of military combat effectiveness of the armed police cadres.
