Abstract/Summary:
With the strengthening of national defense science and technology, the balance between powers has gradually become a competition for military strength.Under the research and development of modern stealth fighters, the recognition and detection performance of targets has increasingly focused on the eyes of scholars and has become a research hotspot.Target recognition refers to the use of radar and computer technology to identify distant targets, through the analysis of radar echo amplitude, phase and other target characteristic information,to estimate the target speed shape and then identify the target type. The recognition technology can be studied from two aspects. If the theoretical analysis of electromagnetic scattering is used, the Radar Cross Section(RCS)can be used to analyze the parameters. This parameter reflects the ability of the target to reflect its own electromagnetic wave. The degree of radar feedback on the possibility of target recognition,so the acquisition of RCS is particularly critical, the traditional tests are based on single-radar or phased array radar;on the other hand, with the origin of multiple-input multiple-output applications in the field of communications system is gradually applied, the performance of MIMO radars has gradually increased.Numerous data show that MIMO radar has prominent advantages in target recognition, parameter estimation and other fields due to the gain obtained by space diversity.Based on the above-mentioned cognition, the paper focuses on the detection performance of MIMO radar and the identification of related systems RCS and other identification issues. The main research content is summarized as follows:For the target recognition problem, starting from the target itself,to obtain the precise radar cross section value of the target, the calculation method of RCS needs to be studied.Based on the test and prediction of radar cross section, based on the introduction of RCS concept and traditional test methods, the use of electromagnetic simulation software to quickly calculate the target RCS,and through the high-frequency calculation software HFSS for a typical dihedral angle target. The single station and dual station RCS are calculated and compared with the theoretical values to prove that the simulation software has higher calculation accuracy.Based on this, the impact of the change of target size on the detection performance is analyzed;for the RCS solution of complex targets, the use of support vector machine theory is proposed. To estimate RCS,using this method to fuse the RCS values of the sphere, the results show that this method is more accurate in estimating RCS and has practical value. Then, from the perspective of radar,we study the target detection, aiming at the problem that traditional radar can’t eliminate RCS fluctuating well,we propose the idea of using MIMO radar, and derive the radar signal reception model based on the principle and structure of MIMO radar.Simulation analysis of MIMO radar and traditional phased array radar detection performance, simulation results show that MIMO radar has excellent recognition capabilities; Finally, the optimal configuration of MIMO radar is studied, using the theory of relative entropy in information theory to analyze the radar of different systems The optimal array configuration, which provides a theoretical basis for the design of the radar system. At last, the thesis summarizes the research ideas and conclusions of this paper, and gives a prospect for follow-up research ideas.
