In recent years,people's awareness of the protection of individuals and social public safety has rapidly increased,and security systems urgently need to be converted from traditional passive video surveillance to active security defense.The millimeter wave radar has the advantages of strong anti-interference ability,high sensitivity,strong environmental adaptability,long detection distance and low comprehensive cost;and it can actively detect the motion of the invading target,and can provide high-precision target positioning information.The video surveillance system has the advantages of being intuitive,easy to view,and capturing and collecting evidence.By combining radar and video information,intelligent security for active location and identification of intrusion behavior can be achieved.In this paper,the following major work is carried out for the research and application of radar video joint processing system:(1)The algorithm principle of LFMCW radar in security monitoring application is introduced.Aiming at the security application environment and target characteristics of the current radar video joint processing system,starting from the characteristics of LFM radar waveform,the corresponding radar waveform,radar multi-objective motion parameter estimation,multi-target detection method and target tracking principle are designed.(2)Investigated the basic imaging principle of the camera in the application of linkage system.The linkage mechanism between radar and dome is designed in three aspects:firstly,the conversion relationship between radar coordinate system and dome coordinate system is determined;then the target selection algorithm under multi-target situation is introduced;Finally,the optimization ideas for delays and false positives that may be encountered in the linkage system are proposed.(3)Completed the construction of the hardware and software platform for radar and video joint processing system.The construction of the hardware platform includes the design and implementation of the millimeter wave radar,the selection of the monitoring dome,the design and implementation of the control box,and the bracket design for fixing the individual modules.In the construction of the software platform,the linkage software is divided into four modules to design:software display,device configuration,security settings and alarm log.(4)Field testing of three important target applications in the daytime office building plaza daytime perimeter wall and night playground.It is confirmed that the radar video joint processing system developed in this paper has a good active protection effect in security applications.
