Legal Issues Of Personal Information Protection Under The Network Enviorment

Today's society is a highly developed era of information,information is as important as material and energy,and has become an important resource for the development of human society.Personal information is of great significance to the promotion of economic development.Compared with the reality,the problem of personal information protection in the network environment is more complicated and the personal information tort is happening.There are certain legal provisions in the protection of personal information in our country,but there are still a lot of gaps and deficiencies in many problems.At present,our country has not yet had the special legislation on the protection of personal information under the network environment,only in some scattered laws and regulations,and the legislation also presents a number of problems such as low level of legislation,decentralization of legislation and lack of system.Facing the increasingly serious infringement of network personal information,it is imperative to set up a special network personal information protection law,which is limited to restrain the abuse of personal information.Through the definition ofpersonal information under the network environment,this paper analyzes the characteristics of personal information in the network environment,the necessity of legal protection,the protection of the status and deficiencies,and puts forward some suggestions to improve the protection of network information in China.In the aspects of improving the legal system,strengthening industry supervision,improving industry self-discipline and self-protection consciousness,we should effectively deal with the problem of illegal use of personal information.
