Nowadays, vicious violent crimes often happen.Violent crime severely damages people's physical and mental health.Facing this urgent social problem, the author thinks it is necessary to go back to the source and analyze the cause of violent crime."We are convinced that crime and crime control are primarily social issues," said American criminologist Eric Azen. The author affirms that sociological theory is of great significance in solving the problem of violent crime. This paper analyzes the specific causes of violent crime from the perspective of micro sociology.Next, the author will make a brief introduction to the writing structure of this article. In the introduction part, the author mainly discusses the research object, research background and significance as well as the proposed innovation point and deficiency. This paper analyzes the causes of violent crime from the perspective of micro sociology.Micro sociology focuses on interaction and situation structure and dynamics. Therefore, this paper does not start from specific crimes, but takes the micro interaction situation of violent crimes as the starting point. In the research object, the author defines the connotation and extension of violent crime, and maintains that the core meaning of violent crime lies in whether the perpetrator has adopted violent means or implemented violent behavior when committing the crime. In the part of research background and significance, the author introduces the current situation of violent crime and analyzes the theoretical and practical significance of analyzing the causes of violent crime from the perspective of micro-sociology.At the end of the introduction, the author points out the innovation and deficiency of this paper. The perspective selected in this paper is relatively new,and the author has limited ability to comprehensively and thoroughly analyze various violent crime situations. This article includes the following four sections. The first part is the interpretation of the research perspective. The interpretation of research perspective mainly contains three contents. The first is the interactive ritual in micro sociology.Micro sociology emphasizes the research of micro situation, namely the social network formed by individuals. The face-to-face interaction between people is the key to the research.Interactive ritual is an important research topic in micro-sociology.The violence theory in this paper is developed from the theory of interactive ritual. On the basis of summarizing the previous theories,Collins proposed the interactive ritual chain theory.Collins argues that group solidarity and group identity symbols formed by high attention and emotion and emotional energy are the core of interactive ritual action mechanism.Second,Collins developed a micro sociological theory of violence on the basis of the interactive ritual chain theory.Only violent situations, not violent individuals.Collins' discussion of violence theory is tightly surrounding conflict tension.Conflict tension refers to the fact that in a conflict situation, participants will have nervous or even fearful emotions, which will limit their actions.Only when conflict tension is overcome can the actor carry out violence successfully. There are two ways to overcome conflicting tensions. One is attacking the weak, the other is distracting. There are several ways to do this. The third part analyzes the connection point between the micro sociological theory and the cause of violent crime.Micro sociology studies various types of violence, violence in violent crime is only one of its types.Unlike other forms of violence, the limits of violence in violent crime are often difficult to control. This characteristic determines that the cause of violent crime is confined to overcoming the tension of conflict, attacking the weak and attacking with panic. In the second part, the author introduces the important factors that influence the occurrence of violent crime, namely conflict tension. The actor in a conflict situation will be nervous and even fearful. The reason for this emotion is not that people are afraid of the harm brought by conflict, but fear of the realistic pressure brought by conflict itself. It is precisely because of the tension of conflict that the action of the actor is restricted and it is difficult to carry out the real violence.Conflict tension is a barrier to violent crime. If you look at a lot of data, the actual violence is a far cry from what people think. In fact, much of the conflict is bluffing and rarely escalates into violent crime. In real life, violent crime is not easy to happen.Conflict tension generally exists in violent crime.Only by overcoming the conflict tension can the actor successfully carry out the violent crime.Overcoming conflict tensions is the first cause of violent crime. In the third part, the author introduces the second cause of violent crime, that is,attacking the weak. Here the weak refers not to the strength of the strength, more refers to the situation of the weak. That is,people who give up emotional energy and lose control of the situation.By attacking the weak, the actor sidesteps conflict tension. There is an emotional energy conversion relationship in attacking the weak violent crime: the victim gives up the control of the situation, and the perpetrator gains the power of the situation; At the same time, the attacker constantly squeezes the weakness of the victim, takes the emotional energy of the victim as his own,and USES the emotional energy of the victim to self-reinforce.It is this shift in emotional energy that leads to violent crimes against the weak. The author takes domestic violence crime and robbery crime as examples to analyze the attack on the weak between acquaintances and strangers.Attacks on underdogs that occur between acquaintances are often a long-cultivated interaction. It's a more routine kind of repeated violence. In the long-term interaction process, the victim takes the role of the weak, which further encourages the harmful behavior. Both sides are immersed in each other's emotional rhythms, similar to the second half of the panic attack mentioned below. It is natural that there is no long-term interaction between strangers,so the weak who attack strangers pay more attention to timing. The perpetrator is more inclined to seek individual as the target of his crime. The perpetrator is good at pushing the victim into an isolated situation and absorbing their emotional energy. The fourth part, the author introduced the third cause of violent crime, namely panic attack. The panic attack is inseparable from two important factors, one is conflict tension, the other is to attack the weak. The panic attack involves the following process: first,a large accumulation of conflicting tensions;second is the emergence of the weak, breaking the original state of balance;finally, there is the release of conflicting tensions. When a large amount of tension is accumulated in the conflict, the actor needs to find an outlet for these emotions, and the emergence of the weak breaks the original balance, and a large amount of tension may be converted into a panic attack.Under this behavior mode, the actor is completely immersed in his emotional rhythm, and the behavior is in a state of loss of control,so excessive violence can be carried out easily, causing serious killing and injury.Panic attacks often bring violence far beyond what is necessary. The author analyzes the violent crime caused by panic attack from two aspects: group and individual. In the conclusion part, the author also puts forward some suggestions on the micro level. The author hopes to find some effective methods to reduce the level of violent crimes and replace serious violent crimes with more moderate violence rituals. The above discussion only provides a new perspective for the study of violent crime.Hope to contribute to the establishment of an effective mechanism to prevent violent crime.
