For a long time,the detention house is a place of mystery and horror in the public impression because of its unique closed nature.The "hide-and-seek cat" incident in Jinning,Yunnan Province,in 2009,and a series of abnormal deaths of spervised person in detention houses,such as "bathing death","drinking death" and "nightmare death",which were subsequently exposed by the media,triggered widespread concern and Discussion on the protection of the rights of spervised person in detention houses,and pushed the detention houses to a temporary stage.The problems in the detention houses,including the weak protection of human rights of the spervised person,are gradually exposed to the public behind the abnormal death of the spervised person.Among these problems,the duty crime of the police in the detention house is the most serious one,and it is also one of the important factors of the abnormal death of the spervised person in the detention house.This article will take the abnormal death phenomenon of the spervised house as the breakthrough point,through one of the long-standing problems in the prison:the protection of the human rights of the spervised person,analyze the causes of the abnormal death phenomenon of the spervised person,and study the cause and effect between the police duty violation or duty crime and the abnormal death of the spervised person,and then in-depth study of the causes of crime and difficulties in the application of law.And in order to effectively reduce the occurrence of abnormal deaths of prisoners,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to prevent and reduce the illegal acts and crimes committed by police officers under the supervision of detention centers from the aspects of legislative improvement and institutional improvement.
