| With the deepening of economic globalization, human society is increasingly full of complexity and uncertainty. While China is in the historical process of transitioning from a planned economic system to a socialist market economic system and a traditional society to a modern society, the reform in the transition period involves the adjustment of interest relations, which inevitably leads to imbalances and imbalances, and the intensification of social contradictions. The increase in social conflicts. In recent years, there have been frequent incidents of various types of rights defense activities in some parts of the country. This paper attempts to use social conflict theory and governance theory, and combines a typical case of labor conflicts in a foreign-funded enterprise in Dongguan,Guangdong Province to study group events in the social transition period.First, the use of social conflict theory analysis to explore the core factors affecting the operation of mass events in the social transition period:"the lack of fairness." Secondly, from the microscopic point of view, the mechanism of the evolution of mass events in the social transition period is analyzed. The reasons for the mass incidents and the problems existing in the current local government governance process. Finally, this paper attempts to use the governance theory to propose relevant countermeasures and suggestions from the three dimensions of government, trade unions and laborers. The mass incidents in the social transition period jointly promote the occurrence and evolution of major mass incidents in the process of coupling, superimposing and strengthening each other. But this is not unpreventable and unregulated.Severe social conflicts jeopardize the stability of social and legal order, and normal social conflicts accumulate power for social transformation.Efforts to make the public feel the fairness and justice, actively promote the participation of multi-subjects in the governance of social transition period, and integrate the solution of social conflict into the institutionalized and organized track is an important path for effective governance of mass incidents in the future. |
