| There are more than 30 million sanitation workers in China,a huge group known as city beauticians.They face the heavy workload of long and high intensity for a long time,the working environment of frequent accidents and the disproportionate low wages.The protection of labor rights and interests of sanitation workers has become a popular issue.Since the 19th National Congress of the People’s Republic of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has raised the issue of people’s livelihood to a new height,focusing on ensuring and improving the standard of people’s livelihood.Therefore,paying attention to the living conditions of sanitation workers,safeguarding the labor rights and interests of sanitation workers,and ensuring their dignity and quality of life are also important issues in the livelihood project.This article takes the sanitation workers’rights and interests as the starting point,selects five typical sanitation system units in Tianjin as sample objects,and adopts a combination of field visits and distribution of questionnaires to survey the basic situation of more than 200 sanitation workers in the sample.The results show that the wages of the sanitation workers in Tianjin are low,the coverage rate of social insurance insurance is low,the sanitation workers lack the awareness of insurance,and the safety and protection of the sanitation work is not in place.After the analysis of the above problems from the three levels of the government,the sanitation industry,the trade union organization and the sanitation workers themselves,the reasons for the protection of the workers’ rights and interests of the sanitation workers were found out.The main reasons are that the legal protection of the government is not in place,the supervision of the social security management department is ineffective,the current wage system is unreasonable,and the trade union function is inadequate,Lack of labor safety protection measures and training.In view of these problems,some suggestions are put forward,that is to formulate special local laws and regulations for the protection of the labor rights and interests of the sanitation workers in Tianjin,and to increase the financial appropriation.The human resources and social security administration of Tianjin should strengthen the supervision.The sanitation employers should formulate a scientific salary salary system,strengthen the trade union function and strengthen the safety education.Training and training,improving the professional quality and legal awareness of sanitation workers. |
