Research On Assistance For Juvenile Victims Of Sex Assault From The Perspective Of Victim Restoration

"Rape is called murder of the soul," says fangSiqi,a Taiwanese writer who committed suicide as a child after being sexually assaulted.Sexual assault not only causes physical damage to minors,but also causes psychological trauma,such as acute stress disorder(ASD),even more severe post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)and complex post-traumatic stress disorder(C-PTSD).According to relevant data,the incidence of PTSD is several times higher than that of survivors of physical violence,accidents,disasters and other incidents,up to nearly 50%.Minors who have been sexually assaulted have a higher risk of developing PTSD,and the impact on them can last a lifetime.PTSD can be comorbidity anxiety,depression,drug dependence and other mental diseases,but also comorbidity hypertension,bronchitis,asthma and other physiological diseases.Based on the severity and particularity of the traumatic consequences of juvenile sexual victims,the protection of them should not be limited to the criminal responsibility of the perpetrators,but more attention should be paid to eliminating the psychological damage and psychological trauma and other negative effects brought to them by the victims,timely intervention and the construction of effective trauma repair mechanism and assistance mode.In this paper,from the Angle of view of the murdered recovery,emphasizing the focus on underage sex the victim was killed and murdered the consequences of the particularity of reaction,through the integration of social resources,to build "four centers" aid mode,form linkage institutions,for minor human victim to provide medical,psychological,spiritual,legal,economic and other comprehensive service and assistance,in order to reduce the "secondary victims","three were killed",help them to restore physical and mental health,return to a normal life of learning.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,emphasizingthe important significance of victimology in helping the victim to eliminate the impact of crime and realize recovery in the research background.This paper summarizes the research status at home and abroad,expounds the guiding significance of domestic and foreign theoretical research for the realization of minor victims' recovery and assistance,and finds out the deficiencies of our research.The second part is the basic overview of the minor victims and assistance.It defines the boundary and scope of the assistance object--the minor victims.Through the special characteristics of the victims,it determines the importance of the minor victims' assistance to the recovery of the victims.The third part examines the special protection and assistance modes for minor sexual victims in the United States,Japan,Hong Kong,Taiwan and other regions outside China,focusing on the "hospital stronghold one-stop assistance center" mode in Japan,from which we can draw lessons.The fourth part is the victim recovery,mainly discusses the connotation and main content of the victim recovery,sorting out the social resources needed by the minor victim recovery,and using the relevant knowledge of psychology,classifying the stages of the victim recovery,providing theoretical support for the more targeted assistance measures for the minor victims.The continuity and effectiveness of the recovery effects were ensured through the retrospective evaluation and the continuous follow-up visits after the recovery.The fifth part is the key part of this paper,mainly trying to build the model of assistance for minors sexual victims,including family-centered assistance;Hospital-centred assistance;Civil sector-centred assistance;Assistance centered on psychological rehabilitation institutions.The assistance of the four centers forms a complete assistance network,strengthens the linkage and collaboration among various agencies,and helps minors to alleviate psychological trauma and restore physical and mental health.The sixth part is the conclusion part,which sorts out and generalizes the viewpoints and measures in this paper,and again emphasizes the importance of the investment of social resources and the establishment of the mechanism of trauma repair to form the aid mode of social linkage for the realization of the victim recovery of minor sexual victims.
